Over the weekend Kim Kardashian was spotted walking around New York City with a hickey on her neck. This comes after she spent a nice long period of time with Kanye West. Hmm. Could the hickey be the latest trend in hip-pop?
For those of you who don’t exactly know what a hickey is, let us explain. First it has a lot of different names, it also goes by a kiss mark, love bite, slag tag or wench mark! It’s basically a bruise caused by the kissing or sucking of the neck.
No matter what you call it, a hickey is just a billboard that says: “Look at me, I just had sex!”
In the past month we’ve seen both Rihanna and Kim K. sporting hickeys. Could these little red marks be the new small dogs?

Remember when every woman in the industry started carrying around small dogs in their purse? These marks of passion could catch on the same way.
Is it possible for the hickey to return to prominence off the neck of some of the biggest names in gossip and entertainment? Rihanna rocked on and when you add in Kim K., lawd have mercy! If one more celebs pops up with a red mark on their neck, hickeys might replace adopting a black baby as the in-thing to do. Who knows what could be next…
