The Miami Dolphins got a double dose of star power to help them get amped for their home opener when Marc Anthony and Fergie joined forces to perform the Star-Spangled Banner as head of the Dolphins’ game against the New York Jets.
The pair delivered a subdued rendition of the national anthem without trying to outsing each other or be over the top, which made for quite the boring performance. Even Fergie’s body language read “snoozer” most of the time. She couldn’t keep her hand off her hip, and by song’s end, she looked to be mimicking Anthony’s movements.
