Leave it to the internet to turn a serious campaign into a jokey commentary.
After the much publicized Saint Laurent Paris “Music Project” featuring the likes of Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love, the internet trolls sprung into action.

VFiles is a fashion based social-networking site who, like the rest of us, were surprised by the people used in the Saint Laurent campaign. They compiled a series of spoofs based off the original Hedi Slimane photographed images. Lindsay Lohan, Raven Symone, Amanda Bynes, Charlie Sheen, Nas, Winona Ryder, and Paris Hilton were all turned into Slimane-worthy shots.
VFiles founder Julie Anne Quay told The Daily Beast:
“We thought ‘Hedi shot these people, so wouldn’t it be fun if he shot these [other] people.’ It’s just a simple conversation. We are huge fans of Hedi and worship at the altar of Saint Laurent, so this is totally a case of ‘imitation is the highest form of flattery.’”

Lindsay Lohan caught wind of her spoof image and was surprisingly delighted at the faux ad, saying:
“Omg I would die! So amazing!!! I love Hedi & shooting w/ him!”
