Officials have confirmed that the suspect in the Lone Star College stabbings is a 21-year-old male who is an enrolled student.

The Sheriff’s department has confirmed that there is not a second suspect. 

It is also being reported that 15 people are wounded, not 14 as previously believed. Four of those victims were taken by Life Flight to the hospital.

The stabbings began in the health sciences building of the college and one student reports that the suspect used an X-Acto knife or a box cutter.

It is being reported that at least 14 people were injured in a fight on the Lone Star College Cy-Fair campus in Houston, Tx.

According to the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department:

A male suspect has been detained by Cy-Fair ISD police, but a second suspect is at large, according to a statement from Lone Star.

One Life Flight helicopter has already lifted off from the campus and a second chopper just landed. 

Several ambulances are also on the scene. Some of the patients have critical injuries, according to scanner traffic.

The school is currently on lockdown. Earlier this year, Lone Star College was the scene of a shooting involving two people who got into a dispute.
