The musical and artistic genius that is Lady Gaga usually shocks fans, leaving them in amazement due to her creativity, but recently as the pop star performed in England, her antics seemed to push the boundaries just a little too far.
During her show, the singer faked a murder scene complete with gushing blood. Members of the audience didn’t take to the performance too well because of a horrific shooting spree that killed 12 people which had taken place just hours before the concert in Cumbria, which followed the murders of three prostitutes in Bradford a few days prior.
A mother who took her 14-year-old daughter to the show told Daily Mail, ‘I was absolutely sickened at what I saw…The scene may have been part of her show but it could have been toned down give the violent events of Bradford and Cumbria.’ The concertgoer continued, ‘It was extremely tasteless to see her pretend to be attacked in such a gory way – especially in front of young children. What happened in Bradford is very fresh in people’s minds and given all the violence which happened in Cumbria just hours earlier, pop stars should be more a lot more sensitive and not be featuring scenes of murder in their shows. Several of us were aghast when Lady Gaga appeared to be covered in blood. There were lot of the kids there who were sickened too. Many had their hands over their mouths in shock.’
