When Bravo producer Andy Cohen brought the cast of Real Housewives Of Atlanta together for the Season 6 reunion, he hoped to drudge up all the dirt from the past season. What he didn’t expect was a knock-down, drag-out fight on set.

Viewers were shocked as they witnessed the back and forth bickering between Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore go from verbal to violent in a matter of seconds. Though he heads the Real Housewives franchise and calls many of these women friends, Cohen says he didn’t see that one coming either.

After he shared his remarks on Twitter, viewers fired back, suggesting that the Watch What Happens Live host was lying. He was quick to respond, saying he sympathized with both Porsha and viewers regarding Kenya Moore’s usage of a scepter and megaphone as props, and while he wouldn’t have wanted them in his face, he wouldn’t have gotten out of his seat.

As a result of the altercation, Porsha was charged with battery and forced to turn herself over to police. Though Kenya has threatened to quit the show if Williams returns, a source close to the show told E! it’s “highly doubtful” both ladies will appear on the upcoming season, but it has not yet been decided who will stay and who will go.

“We all agree that we don’t condone violence,” Kenya said in an interview with the Associated Press. “We’ve become angry with each other, we’ve threatened each other and gone to the edge. But at the end of the day, we know there’s a line. If there are no consequences, then where does it end?”

A majority of the cast believes Kenya was to blame for the on-air fight and says she provoked Porsha when she pulled out her megaphone and yelled insults in her face like, “you are a dumb ho.”

Kenya, however, disagrees.

“I think Porsha was in a position to provoke me,” Kenya said. “If anyone is capable of blacking out and not taking responsibility for their actions, they should not be in this type of environment.”

Williams also seemed ready to call it quits with the cameras, telling Andy, “Honestly I don’t feel like I’m ready for this. It’s just so much happening all at once. Everything just hit me at one time.”

Porsha also says she “blacked out” right before she jumped on Kenya and was unaware of her actions, but Kenya’s not buying that. The former Miss America claims that someone who uses that as an excuse for her violent behavior does “not need a stage such as this.”

In the meantime, Bravo has come under fire by civil rights group ColorofChange. The group is speaking out about Bravo’s “continued reliance on violent, stereotypical images of Black folks.”

“We are deeply troubled by the bullying and the physical violence that took place on the Real Housewives Of Atlanta reunion,” they said in an exclusive statement. “More alarming than the confrontation itself is the unwillingness of Bravo network executives like Andy Cohen to take responsibility for staging and profiting from a hostile and toxic environment. The fighting is an inevitable result of Bravo’s business model and has become a disturbing trend that extends beyond the RHOA cast across most of Bravo’s Black ‘reality’ television franchises.”

The Hollywood Reporter claims the organization would like to see Bravo put in place a ‘no excessive violence’ policy, similar to the one VH1 adopted in 2012 for Basketball Wives.
