There were tears, there were cheers, and all the feels on Thursday during New York Yankee Derek Jeter‘s final home game. From the NY TimesWith one out in the bottom of the ninth, Jeter stroked the winning hit and ended his Yankee Stadium career the way he had ended so many games — with both arms raised in celebration. This is unsettling. On Thursday, Iraq’s prime minister said that captive Islamic State militants (ISIS) told his intelligence agents about a plot to attack subways in the U.S. and Paris. A New York woman was raped by two different men within the span of an hour when she tried to flag down help after her first attack. The man she approached for help threatened her with a gun before sexually assaulting her. Police arrested 17-year-old Nicholas Isaac on Monday. Her second attacker, 21-year-old Daquan Jackson, was arrested Thursday after footage also showed him leaving the scene. Police believe the two suspects were working with each other. The father of the young man shot and killed by Ohio police for holding a fake rifle in Walmart is speaking out after a grand jury failed to indict the officers in his death. At a news conference, John Crawford Jr., says that his son, John Crawford III, was murdered by officers in August, adding that he was appalled the officers weren’t held responsible. “The officer went in and virtually shot him on sight,” Crawford Jr. said. “He did not have a chance.” Watch his emotional statement here…[HuffPost]
