Halloween is right around the corner, which means candy, costumes, and plenty of cool parties to hit up.
If you’re anything like us, you’ve been tirelessly trying to pin down the perfect costume and the best place to wear it since the month began. Picking a costume is no easy feat – there are just so many options. You could hit up your local costume shop for a pre-made, and likely sexy, version of your favorite movie and TV characters, public figures or occupations, or you could go the extra mile and try to DIY something. This process is even more complex when you’re forced to factor in friends and significant others.
With everyone trying to upstage each other in the costume department, it can be easy to ignore your better judgment in favor of that “edgy” (read: offensive, ignorant, or just plain stupid) and “different” costume – you know the ones. Don’t be that guy; you want people’s jaws dropping because they love your costume, not because they’re offended.
Even after you’ve locked in the best, most creative costume you can muster up, you’re left to make the important decisions: house party or the bar, vodka or tequila, etc., etc.
