It’s true.
The blizzard of 2015, the “life-threatening” storm dubbed Juno by meteorologists, didn’t live up to its hype in the city that never sleeps.
The 2-3 feet New Yorkers were promised never came. In its place, less than 10 inches fell to the ground — a fault of Mother Nature’s (not Mayor Bill de Blasio) that made shutting down the transit system, imposing an 11 p.m. curfew, and urging cars to stay off the roads look futile.
Never mind the fact that preparing for a possibly “crippling” storm is what city officials are supposed to do. New York City lied to its own and let those just begging for the world to be buried under the white stuff down.
According to Twitter users, that is, who took to the social media site to voice their frustrations with not dying, as promised, in a winter wonderland.
Apparently the blizzard of 2015 never happened. But maybe they just don’t have friends in New England, a part of the country literally buried alive in snow, to tell them that.
