Empire’s first season may have ended, but don’t worry, we’ll get another dose of Cookie soon.
The hilarious Taraji P. Henson is set to host SNL on April 11, with musical guest Mumford & Sons. The announcement, which showed up on SNL’s Twitter, sent all the Cookie Monsters into a frenzy, since their favorite actress will be back on the small screen sooner than expected.
The outspoken actress also took to her Instagram to show just how excited she is.
Taraji is only the 10th black woman to host SNL.

Ed Sheeran just gave us another reason to love him. The singer made a surprise appearance at one couple’s wedding and served as their wedding singer.
Matt and Kya first appeared on KIIS 1065 and shared that they were going through a tough time family-wise, but were going to go on with planning a wedding. The radio station decided to foot the bill for the big day and when they told Ed the lovebirds chose one of his songs to be their first dance, he volunteered to show up and surprise them.
Ed delivered a flawless version of “Thinking Out Loud,” and offered the groom some great advice–“Make lots of babies for her.”

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are still an item–so says TMZ.
According to the site, the pair never actually broke up. Instead, it was all a ruse because they were both promoting movies that were more marketable if they were single.
TMZ reports:
Sources close to the couple tell us … the break-up they announced in June was a business move. Multiple sources say in the spring they did stop seeing each other, but only for a few weeks.
We’re told JLo was hawking her movie, “Boy Next Door,” and honchos on the film felt creating a buzz that she was hooking up with co-star Ryan Guzman would help sell tickets. It’s hard to do that when you’re not single.
But the decision wasn’t one-sided. We’re told Casper was up to the same thing because he was shooting “Street,” a UFC fighter movie where he buffed up. Again, he was more appealing single.
Gossip Cop, on the other hand, says that J.Lo and Casper never lied about the termination of their relationship, reporting:
Gossip Cop has once again spoken with a Lopez insider, who assures us the singer and Smart are just friends, and an example of former partners who have figured out how to stay on great terms. Indeed, that’s what Smart himself said in an interview just last weekend. “We got a lot of ties. We’re very close,” he told E! News. “We’re friends. We’re very good friends.” There you have it.
Ashton Kutcher combined the things he loved while in Australia–punking people and technology.
The new dad was under cover while Down Under, serving as a salesman for a JB Hi-Fi store in Sydney. He made an elderly lady blush, shared a bed with two other guys–all while wearing a horrible wig and mustache.
