President Obama‘s face has been used for many things, but now an anti-abortion group has taken it to another level.

Thatsabortion.com is the latest “Life Always” campaign behind a controversial New York billboard targeting African Americans. The billboard reads “Every 21 minutes, our next possible leader is aborted,” with President Obama’s face depicted.

Since President Obama came into national consciousness, he has been a target of the right for many things, but this might be the most appalling. Many anti-abortion campaigns try to shock the opposition, but their target is always off. Their aim is always towards black people, but why? In this recent billboard, it is blatant and obvious.

Life Always board member Reverend Derek McCoy said in a statement, “These are babies who could grow to be the future Presidents of the United States, or the next Oprah Winfrey, Denzel Washington or Maya Angelou.” So only black people get abortions? There are two things going on here, these campaigns are using the President’s image for what they promote, while at the same time sending a questionable message.
