With all the major television networks debuting their fall lineups, we were thinking here at Global Grind about our favorite sitcoms of yester year and what they would be like if they were re-made in 2010.

The shows we list are classics that certainly cannot be replaced but it’s fun to think what modern stars would play such iconic roles from the past.

Who would be the modern day Martin and Gina? The 2010 Dr. Huxtable? Or even the present day Arnold Jackson? Visit the next pages to find out who we cast in the 2010 remakes of classic sitcoms!

Arnold from Different Strokes would be played by Role Models actor Bobb’e J. Thompson. Mr. Drummond could be played by Senator John McCain.

Ted Danson’s famous role as Sam Malone could be played by Drake. ‘Say Ahh‘ singer Trey Songz could play Woody, and Zach Galifianakis is the perfect pick to play Norm Peterson.

Rick Ross, with his grizzly beard would play ALF.

The modern day Martin and Gina would have to be the hilarious Kevin Hart and sassy Wendy Williams.

Steve Urkel is arguably one of the most famous geeks who also had an infamous smooth alter ego Stephon.
