Nephew Tommy’s New Fashion Line

Steve Harvey’s co-host, Radio Personality, Thomas Miles aka Nephew Tommy introduced his new clothing line, Big Luv Denim, at the Hoodie Awards in Las Vegas this past weekend. Big Luv is designed for voluptuous figures. Miles presented a runway fashion show to debut his new collection. Skirts, capries and full length jeans were presented on the Catwalk by curvy models.
Miles regularly shows his love to all of the Rubenesque ladies during his radio shows. He has translated that passion and compassion for full-figured women to now make sure that the ladies feel comfortable and look good.
Nephew is a designer who understands and realizes that the average American woman is a size 12 or larger. Plus sized fashions are a neglected and untapped market. Nephew Tommy partnered with Eddie Torres and his team of designers to fabricate jeans that are cut to accommodate rounded curves for a truly comfortable fit.
The sizes offered by Big Luv will be size 12 and up. The line is due to hit the stores in January 2011. Tommy hopes to expand Big Luv to include tops, dresses and shoes for his cherished full-figured ladies.
Since I’m a green gal, I have to ask this…Hey Tommy! Will Big Luv include fabric made from organic cotton and /or bamboo? Ya know…that makes it more earth friendly and you would really be setting a trend. All the best to you with your launch!
