Robin Thicke is all set to drop his new album Sex Therapy. I heard the album last week and I must say it’s awesome. Some of you may remember the picture above of Jay-Z & Robin Thicke in the studio listening to his record and Jay had on the stinky face. I caught up w/ the R&B star and asked him about that very moment. Check it out.
What do you expect with this new album.
I expect to give the people some great music. It’s my job to keep challenging myself to try to do my best and this is the best I got right now.
Who was the most fun to work with?
I would say the most fun was Jay-Z because he came to the studio and my respect factor for him and wanting to work with him for years. And by the time it finally happened was like a culmination of a lot of years of hard work.
What did you think when you saw the pictures of Jay and yourself in the studio?
When I saw the pictures I was like “that really happened” It was just a special memory and it’s exciting just to make music at all but to make music with the people you respect that much it even more of a pleasure.
Did you know you gave jay the stanky face?
The day before he recorded his verse he was making the stanky face for a lot of the album. That’s’ why I think he hopped on the song because he had to make sure the album was official before he hopped on the album.
