Rihanna should send Taylor Momsen some flowers, candy and maybe a new leather jacket. Taylor Momsen was quoted throwing a little bit of shade towards Rihanna in Spin magazine but now she’s claiming it was a misquote. Taylor Momsen has been going pretty hard at trying to let Rihanna know she’s a fan. The 17 year old Gossip Girl was spotted walking around covered in an umbrella, ella, ella… A! Taylor Momsen didn’t stop there either, she called her band The Pretty Reckless and did an amazing cover of ‘I Love The Way You Lie’
As far as the misquote Taylor Momsen corrected that misunderstanding as well saying ‘First of all I’d like to say that quote was spun. It’s a misquote. I was arguing the difference between rock versus pop and it’s a very pop-oriented world at the moment.
‘There is no rock and the people who dress or have guitars in their music, for audiences, that’s the closest thing they have to rock right now. We’re looking to bring back a real rock band. I wasn’t insulting Rihanna.’
She added, ‘Rihanna’s great. Love The Way You Lie [Eminem collaboration] is awesome. That’s a great song.’
