Last week, the internet was abuzz over a YouTube video called “Worst Twerk Fail EVER.”
For those of you living under a rock, the video showed a young girl twerking against a door. When her roommate unexpectedly comes home and opens the door, the twerker is thrust forward onto the coffee table, where candles are burning. Her yoga pants catch fire, but luckily, she is unharmed.
News and media outlets everywhere shared the video with their audiences, who laughed at the poor girl’s pain. Even Jimmy Kimmel got in on it. Now, Jimmy has come forward with a confession to make: the viral video was a hoax!
Jimmy and his team created the video to see just how long it would take for it to go viral. The twerking girl is actually a stuntwoman named Daphne and her roommate is an actress.
