Barack Obama can’t seem to catch a break. A mall in Indiana decided to air a video billboard depicting the president sporting a poorly photo-shopped Hitler mustache with the words “Impeach Obama.” According to Cornerstone, the sign’s owner claims that it was a paid advertisement and doesn’t support the views of any of the businesses in the plaza. A culprit was caught in the dry ice explosions at LAX this week. Dicarlo Bennett, an employee for Servisair, a baggage handling company, was arrested and charged with possessing and exploding the device near the aircraft. The bomb was created with dry ice in 20 oz. plastic bottles. It is unknown how many dry ice bombs were created, but they could have caused “serious injury to anyone in close proximity,” according to Deputy Chief Michael Downing of the Los Angeles Police Department. Soulja Boy has been in an alleged hit and run … and wasn’t even behind the wheel. TMZ reports that the rapper was slapped with a lawsuit after his friend hit Gabor Turi and knocked him off his motorcycle in early January. The rapper’s pal Abrahim Mustafa was arrested in May. [TMZ]
This will make you shed a tear or two. Josh Hargis, a U.S Army Ranger with the 3rd Ranger Battalion, was wounded last week in Afghanistan. A photo was sent to his wife, with Hargis raising his right hand in salute of a purple heart given to him by his commander. The commander fought through doctors and hospital workers to give him the award. His wife posted the beautiful picture on her Facebook, and it’s been shared 4,000 times. [BuzzFeed]
