A case of road rage ended the young life of Melquiesha Warren in San Francisco over the weekend.
According to the DailyMail, Warren and her wife, Tiffany Renee, were heading home after celebrating Tiffany’s birthday at a local club. A car in front of them backed up and knocked off the fender of Warren’s car.
After getting out to assess the damage, Warren was shot in the head. She died just days before her 24th birthday.
A friend who was in the car was also shot and is currently in critical condition. Tiffany Renee, who was in a relationship with Warren for 5 years, told reporters she’s still in shock.
“I’m just flabbergasted. It was just an accident,” Warren’s wife, Tiffany Renee Warren, said Monday. “She lost her life. An innocent life was taken over an accident.”
The suspects drove off, with one fleeing from the crime on foot after the shooting. Police are still looking into the investigation. No arrests have been made.
