Joe Budden is about to do what not too many signed rappers are willing to do – battle a professional battle rapper in front of a live audience.

Budden stopped by the No Judgment Zone with BlogXilla to talk about his upcoming battle with Hollow Da Don and explain why he’s not worried one bit about losing, despite Hollow being able to find out more “dirt” on Joe Budden to rap about.

“That sounds like the way it’s supposed to go,” he said. “They supposed to know everything about me and not a fucking thing about this nobody ass nigga I’m battling.”

The Jersey rapper also chatted it up about the recent fight between Disaster and Math Hoffa after a rap battle, and explains why there won’t be any rough-housing at this weekend’s PPV rap battle taking place at Hammerstein Ballroom.

In the past couple of years, rap leagues like URL, UW, KOTD and more have really grabbed the attention of rap fans and rap superstars. Jay Z even tweeted a line from a battle:

So it made sense when the most lyrical rappers, Slaughterhouse, came up with their own rap battle league they named Total Slaughter. That’s where this week’s guest comes into play. Joe Budden, the emcee who never backed down from a rap beef, lyrically trading verbal jabs with everyone from Jay Z to Lil B while making rhymes for all of his lost loves in the process, is again ready to put his money where his mouth is.

Check out the video interview with Budden above and be sure to keep up with the No Judgment Zone on GlobalGrind.
