Her outfit. It merk bitches.
Since early on in her career, Iggy Azalea has been embraced by the fashion world. Alexander Wang hired her to perform at the Coachella bash celebrating his upcoming collaboration with H&M, while Steve Madden threw a private concert in Brooklyn to celebrate her album release. She’s a front row fixture for Fashion Week, and now she’ll be taking her talents to MTV as the newest host of House of Style.
MTV first brought back House of Style – everyone’s favorite show from the ’90s – in 2012, when the network announced Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls as hosts. Although the duo earned some major respect from the industry while giving viewers an exclusive behind the scenes look at Paris Fashion Week and snagging an appearance from Yeezus himself, the show only lasted one season and could only be viewed online.
MTV hasn’t given up on its revival just yet, though. On August 4, HOS will be brought back once more, this time with the fanciest lady in hip-pop: Miss I-G-G-Y.
The season will last for just a few episodes and will come to an end on the night of the Video Music Awards. It’s unclear if MTV will renew House of Style for another season afterwards, but if Iggy stays as host, we sure hope they do.
