An Indian father tortured and killed a man who he believes raped his daughter. The father, 36-year-old Vinod Kumar, invited the alleged rapist to dinner, burned the man’s genitals with hot tongs, and strangled him to death. The dead man reportedly raped his daughter two months ago, but out of fear it would tarnish his family’s honor, Kumar did not report it at the time. Instead, he invited the man to dinner at his home on Friday, serving him food and drug-laced soft drinks before killing him. Kumar has been charged with murder and is now in jail awaiting trial.
