We were all surprised when we learned that Ben Affleck had been crowned the new Batman, but apparently, Christian Bale had a different reaction.

The actor admits that when he learned someone else was playing the coveted role, he was a bit jealous. According to Us Weekly :

“I’ve got to admit initially, even though I felt that it was the right time to stop, there was always a bit of me going, ‘Oh go on… Let’s do another,'” Bale, 40, told Empire magazine (via Comic Book Movie). “So when I heard there was someone else doing it, there was a moment where I just stopped and stared into nothing for half an hour.”

Though the American Psycho actor had a hard time with the news, he finally made peace with his decision to step down from the role he played for many years, stating:

“But I’m 40,” the Oscar winner reasoned. “The fact that I’m jealous of someone else playing Batman… I think I should have gotten over it by now.”

Is there anything Meryl Streep can’t do? In the upcoming Disney fairytale mash-up Into the Woods, the multi-award winning actress raps. That’s right, Meryl Streep can rap.

The 65-year-old actress had this to say about her bars:

“I haven’t really done my real rap scene. I’m saving that, I don’t want to show you everything. I don’t know when Steve wrote that he was aware, did they even call it a rap then? (It was always referred to as the witches rap) Was he influenced by Ice Cube or whatever. Who are his influences…in 87? Run DMC!!”

Co-star Emily Blunt was floored by the actress’s skills saying:

“It was awesome! She got flow as they say. She’s amazing.”

Kim Kardashian’s ploy to break the Internet has gotten many people talking, and one of them is Jennifer Aniston. In a funny game of last word while on The Ellen Show, the actress ends up impersonating the reality television star, and it is hilarious. While wearing an overly inflated bra and striking a pose, she says:

“This is my version of the Kim K., but the forward one.”

When she is not busy getting a laugh with her friends, (no pun intended), Jennifer is busy getting major Oscar buzz. For her new role in Cake the 45-year-old actress plays Claire Simmons, who is addicted to prescription painkillers after an injury leaves her in chronic pain. Once a member of her support group Nina, played Anna Kendrick, commits suicide, Claire is left alone to figure out the remaining pieces of her life.

The film also stars actress Felicity Huffman and Avatar star Sam Worthington.

After much speculation about the cast of True Detective‘s second season, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch have officially been confirmed as part of the cast. According to Just Jared:

The 36-year-old actress is set for the female lead, and the 33-year-old actor will take on a supporting role alongside Black Box alum Kelly Reilly. Rachel will play Ani Bezzerides, a police officer with uncompromising ethics. Taylor will play Paul Woodrugh, a war vet and motorcycle cop running from his past.

The eight-episode season will start shooting soon in California.

Saturday Night Live is at it again. This time, upcoming movie Annie, which stars Quvenzhane Wallis and Jamie Foxx has fallen victim to the sketch comedy show. In the skit, Cameron Diaz plays Mrs. Hannigan and Jay Pharoah does a solid Jamie Foxx impression as Mr. Warbucks. As expected the skit plays on the troupes of the legendary play. There is talk of the iPhone 6, references to Jamie and Kanye West‘s “Gold Digger” and then some.
