If you’re a woman who’s wondering how she can help the man in her life get healthy, hit the flip for 5 ways you can do your part.
1. Join Him
We can all benefit from a healthy lifestyle. Don’t be afraid to encourage your significant other by joining in on his fitness journey. There’s no better bonding time than a couple’s gym session, partner yoga or just reading and researching a fit lifestyle together. You’ll thank one another in the long run.
2. Be Encouraging

Taking on a healthy lifestyle is stressful and often times when we don’t see instant results, it can be discouraging. Feel free to offer your mate kind words to remind him that he’s making the right decisions. Try not to poke fun at his efforts and offer positive affirmations at a time he needs it most.
3. Research Together

Don’t be afraid to grab your boo and do some research together. Knowledge is power and sometimes we just don’t know where to start. However, it doesn’t hurt to have someone by your side to help you sift through all of the information and find out just how you can begin your path to a healthier you. Check out awesome videos, podcasts and articles together. Your genuine interest in your partner’s health could be just the kick in the a$$ that they need.
4. Help Keep Temptation Away

Just because your man is embarking on a healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean you have to as well, but at least be understanding and courteous to the fact that he’s trying to make a positive change in his life. This means that you should do your part not to tempt him. When he’s around, try to avoid eating fatty desserts, don’t suggest that you guys have drinks with your dinner, try to scale back just a little to accommodate the changes he’s making. Sure, it can be a little inconvenient at first but we all make sacrifices for the ones we love.
5. Talk It Out

Take interest in one of the biggest decisions your man is making in his life. You may opt not to participate, and that’s fair, but at the very least it’s important to show him that you care. Men love it when their mate takes an interest in what they have going on, in this case, it’s their health and wellness. Nothing will boost his confidence more than you being mentally involved.
