We Have One Question For The '90s Babies Out There...Myra Or Laura?

As a ’90s baby, I’m not going to lie…there are still times when I actively seek out TV shows from the olden days. We had a lot of hits, especially where family television is concerned—I’m talking Family Matters, Moesha, Saved By The Bell…the list goes on. Steve Urkel will live on in our hearts (and hopefully on the small screen) for generations to come. And who better to teach young adults the perils of growing up than Mo, Dorian, Hakeem, Niecy and them?

Like I said, we got hits.

So, imagine how crazy things got when the internet started debating about all the ’90s leading ladies on Twitter this week? The dispute seemed to begin when someone compared Topanga Lawrence from Boy Meets World to Kelly Kapowski from Saved By The Bell. Who was the better girlfriend? Twitter had thoughts, namely that Kelly was cool but Topanga was everything.

But there were a few Kelly stans stanning too.

“Aside from all the philosophical reasons like Myra loving Steve when he was nerdy and annoying unlike Laura who only loved Steve when he had to literally invent a machine to transform him, Myra was finer,” @RealLifeKaz wrote.

“Myra was sh*tting all over Laura. She was like five foot nothing and all yams. Yams. Sweet potato yams,” @DragonflyJonez hilariously tweeted.

“Myra wanted him from the jump, Laura didn’t want him until he was happy. Females ain’t sh*t,” @xKidd_NextDoor chimed in.

“I’m glad they made that Family Matters tweet cause I never could understand why Urkel was sweating Laura when Myra right in his face looking like a gourmet meal,” @__JayHefner wrote.

@StefLamagne had a tougher time choosing. “Idk cause Laura was a real one and she was fine,” he wrote. “But Myra was funny, sexy, cool, and I love her smile. This is a real tough one…….. #Myra”
