Fashion Week in New York City is not just about seeing the best designs for next season, but it is also about showing off the best of your wardrobe items for the current season.

For that reason, and just for the overall love of fashion, street style shots documenting the real style of NY Fashion Week-goers has become just as integral as the shots of looks on the runway.

GlobalGrind was out and about on the scenes of Lincoln Center this week, snapping street style to give our readers who weren’t able to make it to the festivities an inside look at the featured styles.

We ran into a lot of print mixing, color blocking and playful leather accents while scouting style from some very stylish New Yorkers and visitors.

We gave a specific focus on scouting the real life fashionistas and fashionistos that were mixing low end pieces with high end pieces, blending textures and prints and paying special interest to individualistic additives with accessories.

Check out the gallery above to see all the styles we stalked at Lincoln Center during NYFW.
