When it comes to marriage, Kim Kardashian‘s motto is “Why wait?”
In the last interview Kim did before announcing her divorce to Kris Humphries, Kim discussed her rush to get married with fem mag Marie Claire saying, “We felt like, ‘Why wait?’ … It’s fun to have a partner who understands your life and lets you be you.”

If you apply that motto to the way Kimmie also got divorced, it makes total sense.

But Kim insisted divorce wasn’t on her mind at all, she told the magazine:
“I’m not worried about him at all … We have a lot of trust, and I don’t think either of us would do anything to break that. It makes life so easy. He’s such a good guy; he is so down-to-earth, and it’s such a reality check. He is a normal guy, and I just want to chill out and be normal and not get glammed up all the time. He gets it. Sometimes my life can be really intimidating for people, but he allows me to work and do what I’ve gotta do.”
Despite those statements, Kim filed for divorce on October 31st after 72 days of marriage. Guess she figured “Why wait?”
The end of her marriage can be seen on the new season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York.
“We made a pact as a family and said we would be truly authentic because people don’t buy bullsh*t,” Kim added about the in depth look into her fam’s life.
