Rocawear clothing reps recently did an interview with WWD to let everyone know that Rocawear is still on the map and yes, the Jigga Man is still in charge.

Speculation surfaced that the brand and owner Jay-Z were drifting apart due to the struggle of sales in 2011, and major layoffs for the company’s New York offices.
However executives state that Jay-Z just actually renewed his contract to endorse the label for another three years; the men’s licensee still owns 51 percent stake in Roc Apparel.
Jay-Z will also be making an appearance in a Rocawear commercial set to debut later this month.
This is all great news for label, and Jay. We can’t wait to see the new collections in 2012!
