Former FAMU football player, Jonathan Ferrell, was shot ten times by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police early on Saturday morning after he escaped from a very serious car accident.
Knocking on the door of the nearest house he could find asking for help, the woman who answered thought he was trying to break into her home and called the police. Understanding that it was 2:30 in the morning, it would make sense why Sarah McCartney, a mother of a one year old, would be scared that a stranger was knocking on her door at that hour.
However, it is not clear why he was killed by the police just moments later. Listen to the full 911 call below:
