Amidst a sea of Photoshop scandals starring Jezebel and Lena Dunham and chairs made of black mannequins, it’s high time we see a little positivity when it comes to the female body in its natural form.
Aerie has taken a step many lingerie brands have shied away from in the past: showing models wearing their brand without a bit of Photoshop. In a brave new campaign titled “Aerie Real,” Aerie is using models who have not been digitally enhanced.
In hopes of making all women feel good about their bodies, the brand is asking young ladies to share photos of themselves on social media using #AerieREAL hashtag.
