In the wee hours of this morning, Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed what may have been the most anticipated baby ever, Blue Ivy Carter.

The couple gave birth to a healthy, bouncing baby girl during a scheduled C-Section at Lennox Hill Hospital. We aren’t sure who was on hand to celebrate baby Blue’s arrival, but a few of the pair’s closest friends did welcome baby Carter via Twitter.

Good friend of the couple, Gwyneth Paltrow took to Twitter to express her love for the new baby, and also to clear up reports about the newborn’s name.
Auntie Rihanna also welcomed princess baby Blue via Twitter as well.

Beyonce’s sister Solange tweeted this morning expressing her adoration for her new niece, Blue.
There have yet to be any words for Blue’s other Auntie Kelly and Uncle ‘Ye but it is great to know that Blue was welcomed in with so much love surrounding her.
