Kim and Kanye West were driving down the block when Yeezy realized that his Lamborghini Mercy was running out of gas. So once they got to a gas station the “Cold” singer must have thought he was in New Jersey, because Kim got out the car and started pumping the gas herself!

When pics of the petrol pumping hit the ‘net, folks had mixed emotions. Some thought Kanye West should have been a gentleman and pumped his own gas.
Others saw no wrong in Kim pumping gas for her man. It is 2012; the age of equal rights and anything a man can do, a woman can do as well.

As a gentleman, I firmly believe that it’s the man’s responsibility to pump the gas at all times, but maybe Yeezy caught the holy ghost of Max Julien and decided to get his “Goldie” on. I could surely see Kanye saying something like this.
Either way, I think there are 5 solid reasons why Kim Kardashian pumped the gas when there was an able and capable man present.
1. Kanye West was tired. Any good woman should be able to recognize when her man is exhausted, so insisting on pumping the gas is just a small thing she could do to let him get a little bit of rest.
2. To prevent Kanye West from having another wardrobe malfunction while leaving the car. Yeezy already sent a girl a picture of his… We don’t need the paparazzi getting a picture of it too.
3. Because Kanye West told her to. “Kim, I’m really happy for you, and thank you for buying me this Lambo, but the way you pump gas is the greatest of all time, of ALL TIME! Now get out there and put 40 on pump 3.”
4. Kim Kardashian looks damn good pumping gas! You gotta admit that Kim pumps it like no other. She pumps it, pumps it real good.
5. There’s is a 50/50 relationship: More than likely Kim pumped for gas because she was paying for it. There is no reason for Yeezy to give them a photo op, if Kim was paying for the gas. Right?
