We are seven days away from when Alicia Keys sets the stage on fire at the 2012 MTV VMAS.
There, the singer will be premiering “Girl on Fire,” the first single from her upcoming album of the same name.

We still haven’t heard the song yet, but MTV just released a new promo. In the video, we see the singer playing the piano while all these cool Egyptian symbols formulate in the background. Those symbols then transition to the live stage applauding audience.

The promo clip is just the latest in a set of viral clips that MTV released. This one is more straightforward compared to the funny ones that we’ve seen before with Kevin Hart and a series of artists (Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Green Day, etc.)
