Lil Wayne recently admitted he’s not a fan of NYC, and his comments seem to have rubbed a few people the wrong way – including a New York State Senator.

Malcolm A. Smith, representative to the Southeast section of Queens, New York, found the YMCMB rapper’s opinion of the Big Apple to be highly offensive.

As a result, Sen. Smith demanded that Weezy release a public apology to the denizens of New York City for his off-putting comments.

“Flat out: I don’t like New York,” Weezy told MTV News on Monday night while in Las Vegas.
