Adele is basically a unicorn.

DETAILS: OH!? Trinidad Jame$ Wants To Work With Adele

She’s on every artists’ dream collaboration list, but she seldom actually collaborates with other artists.

Today, Atlanta rap newcomer Trinidad Jame$ made headlines when he revealed he wanted to work with Adele.

Although no one in their music-loving mind can imagine a shirtless, gold teeth sporting, n*gga, n*gga, n*gga-spewing rapper like Trinidad in the studio with an almost angelic Adele … anything is possible.

DETAILS: REALLY!? DMX Wants To Collaborate With Adele

GlobalGrind went through a few archives of unlikely rappers who revealed their desire for Adele’s soulful vocals and decided it would be fun to rank the rappers who are most likely and least likely to collaborate with Adele.

Check out our rankings below!

7TH PLACE- DMX: The very very very least likely rapper to ever work with Adele.

When asked what female artist he wants to work with, DMX replied:

“Adele…I love chubby girls.”

6TH PLACE- Trinidad Jame$: Imagine Trinidad Jame$ and Adele in the studio together…now stop laughing. When Trinidad revealed he wanted to work with the “Rolling In The Deep” singer, no one could help but wonder what planet Trinidad is living on. But hey, we all can dream.

Trinidad Jame$’ thoughts on Adele

“I really wanna work with Adele. She has been dope forever and I feel like if I had a chance to do some music with her, it’ll be good but that’s just my opinion. Even it wasn’t good, I would still listen to it by myself just so I could hear her voice and be like, ‘I’m on a song with Adele.”

5TH PLACE- Big K.R.I.T: Big K.R.I.T and Adele are both old souls, so it’s not totally outlandish to imagine these two in the studio together. These two together could definitely happen in the future.

Big K.R.I.T dishes on wanting to work with Adele:

“I really want to do an original song with Adele.”

4TH PLACE- Nicki Minaj: Out of all the rappers on the list it’s not that hard to imagine Nicki Minaj working with Adele. Although we can sort of imagine Nicki Minaj attempting to outshine Adele’s English accent, it’s not quite clear if that will ever happen in the near future.

Nicki Minaj on Adele:

“Well, I’m obsessed with Adele. That might be interesting one day in the future. She’s like your guys’ queen, right? She bursted out of the scene and took over and she’s so humble and sweet.”

3RD PLACE- Big Sean: Detroit rapper Big Sean once sampled Adele’s “Hometown Glory,” and it’s quite good. Although we don’t picture these two in the booth anytime soon, it could be a possible collaboration in the near future.

During an interview with MTV, the Finally Famous rapper revealed his ambitions to work with Adele, stating:

“I really want to work with Adele, I think she’s, like, great. She never compromises her sound for anything. She reminds me of Motown soul music, and its straight number-one, her voice is unmatched. She makes the type of music people sample, and that’s the best music ever.”

Big Sean even takes it a step further and reveals he would even date Adele, stating:

“I love Adele, I love her so much. I wish I could just meet her. I know she’s my age too. I would even date her, man. She’s like so great to me.”

2ND PLACE- Tyler, the Creator: This is also an odd, but very possible collaboration. Odd Future’s frontman Tyler, the Creator may seem like a musical menace to many, but Adele thinks he’s “refreshing”

After Adele swept up all the awards at the 2012 Grammy Awards, Tyler tweeted:

“Adele Is So Gnar. We Played GTA4 In London And Shit. Im Happy For You My Nigga”

He also dished about his affinity for Adele in regards to the 2011 MTV VMAs:

“If I lose to any of those wackass videos, I’m gonna be mad because they all suck — except for Adele’s.”

1ST PLACE- Tinie Tempah: From one London bloke to another, UK rapper Tinie Tempah is probably the most likely out of all these emcees who will get a fair shot at working with Adele. He was actually supposed to hit the studio with the 21 songstress, but after having her throat operation, the collaboration never came to fruition.

Tinie Tempah on Adele

“Towards the middle of last year we met in Los Angeles properly and started hanging out a lot. And that was when I was kinda pushing for [a collaboration] the most. But after the throat thing she couldn’t really communicate and had to cancel shows. So I kinda just left it there. I really backed away.”
