Wow, this sounds bad!

Yesterday, Rihanna, real name Robyn Fenty, filed a lawsuit in Manhattan federal court against her former accounting firm, Berdon LLP, and two accountants. The pop star is claiming that they mismanaged her finances, causing “significant financial losses.” The lawsuit claims the firm might have cost her tens of millions of dollars.

The lawsuit blames the firm for poor bookkeeping and bad advice.

One of the many specific examples the lawsuit gives is the singer’s 2010 Last Girl on Earth tour. The lawsuit claims that the firm failed to create a proper budget for the tour, which went to more than 20 cities across the country. Because of this, Tourihanna, the concert touring company established by Berdon on Rihanna’s behalf, lost millions of dollars.

Another allegation is that the firm and the two accountants got commission off the singer’s gross receipts, something that is unusual in the industry, according to the lawsuit.

Rihanna is seeking unspecified damages from Berdon LLP.

This is all very troubling for our girl RiRi!
