The Weeknd will officially call Universal Republic his music home. “The Morning” singer initially burst onto the music scene as an elusive R&B singer with his debut mixtape House Of Balloons.
Receiving high accolades from music critics, The Weeknd finally came out from the shadows at this year’s Coachella Music Festival.
Besides inking deals, The Weeknd is gearing up to go on tour once again this fall.

His tour kicks off next week on September 18 in New Jersey, and wraps up in his homeland of Canada only a few days before Halloween.
The Weeknd is slated to drop the “Trilogy” of his three acclaimed mixtapes, House Of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes Of Silence, which will be mastered and released on November 13.
