Following the Aurora shootings, a new billboard popped up in Caldwell Idaho that has garnered the attention of a significant amount of people, and not in the best way.

While President Obama is making stops to visit the victims of the Aurora shootings, The Ralph Smeed Foundation is making split screen billboards comparing our nation’s head of state to Aurora shooter James Holmes.
The elevated billboard that is located along Caldwell’s Franklin Road, equates President Obama’s foreign policies to the senseless acts of Holmes that resulted in the death of a dozen innocent movie viewers.

According to KBOI 2 News, the group that owns the board, The Ralph Smeed Foundation, says it wants to draw attention to military men and women dying overseas. A spokesman for the group says everyone has the right to their own opinion.
Whie everyone is entitled to their own opinion, the group should be sensitive to those effected by the Aurora shootings.
