Zimmerman's Defense Subpoenas Trayvon's School Records (DETAILS)

As George Zimmerman is out on bail in the shooting death case of Trayvon Martin, his defense team, headed up by Mark O'Mara, is hard at work and about to begin their discovery process.

Zimmerman's defense has now subpoenaed Trayvon's school records. The subpoenas have gone out to Miami Carol City High, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Norland Middle School and Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High.

Although subpoenas have gone out, the school records are protected and will not become part of public record without appropriate court order.
