Republican Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich’s lesbian half-sister said she won’t vote for her own bro, instead she will punch her ticket for President Obama in 2012.

Candace Gingrich-Jones, a gay rights activist, told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow that she and her brother are “mutually respectful” but disagree on gay rights.
Candace said:
“He is definitely on the wrong side of history when it comes to those issues and I will work really, really hard to make sure that President Obama is re-elected next year no matter who the Republican candidate is.”
Damn, Newt isn’t getting any love from his own sister. But the same can’t be said for voters, as Gingrich has surged to the top of the polls in the Republican race.
Gingrich is known for his socially conservative views and has said he opposes gay marriage, in fact his sister said he didn’t even attend her wedding.
