Fresh-faced Andrew Garfield plays Spider-Man in the upcoming film reboot The Amazing Spider-Man and VMan got a chance to catch up with the actor for a rare interview … with himself!
Well, not quite. Toby Maguire, who also played Spider-Man in past installments of the film franchise, interviewed Garfield and the outcome was nowhere near as awkward as you would think.

Photographed by fashion photography duo Inez & Vinoodh and styled by Mugler creative-director Nicola Formichetti, Andrew is seen throughout wearing strictly black and white pieces from the likes of Gucci, Giorgio Armani and Prada.
When Andrew was asked about the process and how he ended up being the one chosen for the much sought-after role as Spider-Man, he responded to Tobey by saying:
“It was pretty basic, apart from it being more dragged out and pressure-filled and dramatic than any other audition process I’ve ever been through. They like to put you through the ringer, in the respect that it creates drama and tension among a generation of actors.”

We’re glad they put Andrew through such an intense process, because the trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man looks amazing. No pun intended.
