As we reported earlier this year, David Beckham will be the first man to ever appear on the cover of Elle UK! As many of you know, men’s fashion magazines have long used women on their covers to sell issues, but women’s rags never hopped on the same bandwagon – until now.

We guess that the female fashion magazine needed someone who was more “universally” appealing to women, and Elle UK may have found the perfect cover boy in Mr. Beckham.
The July issue of Elle UK will feature David wearing an assortment of high end clothing. However, subscribers to the magazine will be especially happy to know that the soccer stud will appear shirtless in some photos!
