There are, of course, plenty of cheaper listings on the market in the building, but perhaps Weill’s promise to donate the proceeds to charity appealed to Rybolovlev, who happens to be the world’s 93rd richest person.

UPDATE: Forbes believes the buyer is actually Rybolovlev’s daughter, 22-year-old Ekaterina Rybolovleva.

The Weills had building designer Robert A.M. Stern redesign the apartment’s bedroom as an oval for an unobstructed view of the sun rising over Central Park. The apartment also has 19 glass doors opening onto the terrace.

Pictures of the penthouse are in the gallery above! Don’t you wish you were full of ish now?
