Los Angeles has always been one of my favorite places to escape to and relax for a few days, but it wasn’t until I had a child of my own that I realized how kid friendly it actually is. I took my son to L.A. for a few days last month and even though we’ve been there together many times before, this time I really wanted him to create his own agenda. Since he is a fan of chicken and waffles, the legendary Roscoes was the first stop on the list.
He kept talking about Universal Studios, so we ended up there on the Transformers ride. Then he actually sat still long enough to let an artist create a super cute caricature of him.
We met up with our girl Julissa B. and shopped at Kitson, which is one of the cutest children’s stores ever. After that, we went walking on Vine St. in Hollywood where we came across the Michael Jackson star. He loved that!
