Choosing your wedding gown can be one of the most mind blowing experiences as you prepare for your big day. You have to put total trust in the designer you chose to not only meet your expectations, but go above and beyond.
Earlier this summer Kim Kardashian revealed she chose fashion designer Vera Wang to create her gown. With much trust in her, she would have it no other way.
Vera Wang has been a close friend to the Kardashian family for a long time and talks of Kim’s wedding gown has actually been going on for years between the two. Wang told Ryan Seacrest in a recent interview:
“The road to the altar started years ago. Kris and I were always talking about when Kim would get married and then Khloe got married first so we went another way. What’s really exciting now is we had some time for starters I mean it hasn’t been like 4 days.”
Vera loves how Kim was very conscious and worked with her during the whole process of designing the dress. It was truly special because she is a friend.

“In any event this is really exciting because Kim is really been into it, and into the process and working on the clothes together and so we’re really really really excited. I can’t say one damn word about the dress though sorry not a word I cant talk about any of it.
What I will say that I’m really thrilled with how radiant she’s looking and I think she’s going to be just amazing. I’m just gonna say one thing, I don’t want to be killed by momma Kardashian so I am behaving myself. I’m dying to tell you guys everything but I’m really very very controlled. But I will tell you one thing that she’s looking so dazzling that I’m just beside myself I really am because I’m also friends with the family and the whole thing makes it just so special for me.”

Kim stated on her blog that when it came to chosing a designer she thought of absolutely no one else to do the job. Kim has extreme confidence in Vera and believes she would create the perfect gown to make her dream come true.
