East Coast music lovers who didn’t get to catch Coachella can start to get hyped up. The Bamboozle Festival, the annual three-day music extravaganza taking place on April 29, 30 and May 1 at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, is a week away and is jam packed with more than enough artists to fill any one’s music needs.
Headliners for all three days have already been announced and include Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Mötley Crüe, Bruno Mars, 30 Seconds to Mars, A Day To Remember, Taking Back Sunday and The Gaslight Anthem, to name a few.
The names have also been announced for one of the pre-festival events, The Break Contest, which serves as the official unsigned band competition in which the winner will get to perform on the main stage for the festival. The Break Contest finalists include: “Mazmyth” from Livingston Manor, New York, “WordSpit” from Brooklyn, New York, “Breathing Blue” from Brick, New Jersey, “I Am Fighting” from Kearny, New Jersey and “Young Hollywood” from Middlebury, Connecticut.
The B-Boy Arena holds a breakdancing battle which debuted during last year’s festival. Battling it out are some of the top in the field including Gravity, Thesis, Ken Fury, Killa Kelv, Menno and Morris, who will be defending his title as last year’s champion.
Tickets are still available for the Bamboozle festival, so make sure you get them before they’re gone!
