It’s old and tired for men to site sexist slurs when a woman seems to take charge or take a stand, but in a Senate room with all politiciains, it’s just quite ridiculous!
Liberal Senator David Bushby finds it neccessary to chant a “meow” noise when fellow senator Penny Wong tries to finish her statement before being rudely cut off by him. She fights back, “the blokes are allowed to yell, but if a woman stands her ground, you wanna make that kind of comment!”
