What: Recycling Urine

GG Certified: There’s a town in Texas going through a drought so bad, that officials are beginning to recycle wastewater as a means of survival.
Reports Discovery news:
“When you talk about toilet-to-(water) tank it makes a lot of people nervous and grossed out,” says Terri Telchik, who works in the city manager’s office in Big Spring, Texas. Water for the town’s 27,000 residents comes through the Colorado River Municipal Water District, which has broken ground on a plant to capture treated wastewater for recycling. “We’re taking treated effluent (wastewater), normally discharged into a creek, and blending it with (traditionally supplied potable) water,” district manager John Grant told Discovery News.
In essence, the system speeds up what would naturally occur with the flow of discharged water through wetlands, with more pristine results, Grant added.
This is the worst drought in Texas in some years. Nationwide, 41 percent of the country is abnormally dry.

What: Jaguar Cars, the C-X75 ad XJ Series.

GG Certified: Tata Motors, owners of luxury car brand Jaguar, has announced plans for a new Entry level sedan and hybrid supercar.
The C-X75 hybrid supercar from Jaguar will have a limited 250 vehicles production; will help in the launch of the sedan priced under $52,500 that will be critical in boosting their sales. The current line up of the brand includes the XK sportscar and the XJ and XF sedans. With a new sedan positioned in the entry level category, the brand would compete against the 3 Series from BMW, the C-Class from Mercedes Benz, and the Audi A4, which are the top three brands’ highest selling models.

What: PS3 controller on Android devices
