In today’s DOLLARS & SENSE we’re exploring what you can do for one bill.
Each Wednesday we have a different bill to choose from and to start things off we began with the $20 bill.
Since it’s now officially the middle of the week, you can start to wind down since the weekend is on the way.
Why not get together with a few co-workers after work and go to a happy hour at your local bar or restaurant?
Be careful to not get too drunk, since you’re around your peers!
With $20 at a happy hour you will probably be able to get at least 3-4 drinks and leave a moderate tip before you cash out.
Get a glass or two of wine or just get some appetizers with your co-workers.
Check out the area around your workplace for a good place to go, an outside spot is ideal so you can enjoy the nice weather before the summer is officially over!

You can go to a comedy club for free!
The problem is that most of the time, comedy clubs that don’t have an entrance fee have a two drink minimum, which is where your $20 comes in.
Laugh it up and get your drinks in for $20 or less. You’ll leave feeling entertained and you wont be upset that you spent too much money!

As a new feature in Dollars and Sense, we will be adding financial tips to help you spend your money wisely each day.
Today’s Tip:
The 10 percent Rule:
Always aim to save 10 percent of your income every week and preferably more if possible. At the very least, put away 5 percent and make it up when you can. The solution is make saving a habit!
