It’s Thursday and you may have gotten paid today or you may just be coasting through the week because there was nothing really going on. Well, once Humpday is officially over and Thursday arrives,  many people already feel like it’s the weekend.

If you go out and do something out of the ordinary tonight, you only have one more day before the weekend so why not rage! But, if partying isn’t your thing then you we have a few other things that you can do with your money.

Go Vintage

For the money that you would spend randomly splurging on clothes that anyone else can get, you can go to a vintage shop and get twice the amount of things that you would get in your average department store, and at half the price.

If you put in a little leg work and take the time to really look through the selection, you may even find a few high-end designer pieces for some very low-end prices.

Many people have hang ups about vintage shopping because they perceive the clothing as used and dirty. However, nothing could be further from the truth. In some cases if the clothes are worn, it’s usually very minimal and sometimes the clothes are brand new with original tags.
You can find some amazingly made pieces that you won’t be able to get anywhere else … and better yet you won’t see anyone wearing the same thing.

You can find vintage shops in any hipster neighborhood in many major cities. And with a quick internet search for vintage or consignment stores, it won’t be hard to come across one in your area.

Spoil Yourself
Use today to do or get the one thing that you have wanted for a while. It doesn’t have to be extremely expensive, but maybe you can pick up that funny coffee table book that you saw during your last visit to Urban Outfitters. Maybe you want to see an independent movie that nobody else wants to see or even go out to that restaurant after work that looks so good, but cost too much to eat at regularly.

Sometimes we have to remember to treat ourselves as well as we do our loved ones. Besides it’s only one day and you don’t have to break the bank but we guarantee that tomorrow you won’t regret your decision.

Financial Tip Of The Day: Beware The Hype
So you find an opportunity you believe to be solid gold, in fact you are downright excited … so what next?

Well, if you are hyped up then the chances are you probably won’t be thinking straight, which in turn means that you likely won’t take the necessary measures to weigh up the odds.
Every golden financial opportunity needs cautious observation to level out that dangerous “hype” that creates far more financial failures than successes. The solution is to sleep on it, then get opinions of those you respect, but never rush in.
