Mallika has already proved herself on the Bollywood scene, starring in many successful Indian movies. But now, she continues to break barriers and conquer Hollywood’s big screens.
In Mallika’s latest film, entitled Politics of Love, she plays Aretha Gupta, a dedicated local Obama volunteer coordinator who unexpectedly falls in love with the volunteer coordinator of her competing party, played by Brian J. White.
The film shows the importance of being involved in political voting and government, all while keeping you enchanted with a comedic love story.
Mallika’s great performance in the film is the main reason why the Los Angeles Times calls this movie “clever and lively.” The renowned publication also goes on to say the movie “emerges as an amusing entertainment.”
